The Mary Potterton Memorial Concert Series

Every Wednesday evening during July and August, a concert is offered to the community of Lubec at 7:00 PM in the Congregational Church. The concerts are dedicated to the memory of Mary Potterton (1905-1993) who helped to begin the summer music school in town. Free admission to the Concert Series.

Music Study and Practice
Lubec enjoys the annual opening of a music school during the months of July and August only. The faculty comes from New York music schools and as rosters fill very quickly, early registration is a good idea!

As you drive along
the scenic by-ways of Lubec, or hike the many beautiful trails in our
locale, you may spot many beginner and accomplished artists, standing or
